We, the undersigned citizens, taxpayers and dog owners of the Town of Brookhaven,
Suffolk County are frustrated by the continued building and improving of other recreational
areas while there is a lack of off- leash dog parks. We seek to provide more options for
our community to be able to utilize local parks to exercise our dogs.

We hereby petition the County and the Town to equalize parkland for dog owners and
for access to more off-leash dog parks where we can exercise our dogs in a safe and
secure environment. This petition shall serve to specifically seek an off leash dog
park in Central Suffolk, in the Third District of the Town of Brookhaven, Suffolk County.
